I was looking forward to this book. P I do like what Brashares does with the concept of trying to stay together with your friends after all going your separate ways–you really do have to work at it. Is it OK for kids to read books outside their reading levels? But I think Brashares tried too hard to make the book relevant to contemporary teen themes that I felt like I was reading a book version of Seventeen.
I guess because I just did not understand their college experiences, fogever perhaps I was tired of whiney characters. For kids who love on reads.
